EDBB Performs at ASMAC 75th Anniversary Celebration

In October 2012, Elliot Deutsch received 1st place in the ASMAC/Bill Conti Big Band Arranging & Composing Competition for his version of Pure Imagination. To celebrate this honor, he was invited to showcase his big band at their 75th Anniversary Luncheon.  Among the 300 members in attendance were Van Alexander, Johnny Mandel, Patrick Williams, Chris Walden, Nan Schwartz, and even Michael Giacchino.  Elliot Deutsch Big Band performed 8 pieces including Deutsch's Pure Imagination, 50 Piece McChow Down, Van Alexander's Tisket-a-Tasket, and Charlie Rosen's version of Water Music.
